Plea for more bus services to Thirumazhisai

CHENNAI: Residents of Thirumazhisai village falling under Thiruvallur district have demanded proper bus connectivity to the city.

They charged that though a few buses were operated from their area, they were erratic and with poor frequency.

Bus routes, including No.153 to Poonamallee, No.101 to Thiruvottiyur, No.66 to Tambaram, no.54 to Parrys Corner and no.62 to Red Hills were operated from Thirumazhisai.

As the bus facility was inadequate especially during morning hours, several office goers, school and college students who travel to the city were the sufferers.
