Thiruvananthapuram: The Corporation secretary has issued notices to the owners of stone quarries in P.T.P. Nagar where two schoolchildren had drowned on Friday after they fell into a pool inside a quarry. This was announced in a release issued by Mayor C. Jayan Babu. The notice directs the quarry owners to install signboards at the quarries besides and cordon off dangerous spots at the quarry . The Mayor also visited the quarry and the houses of the victims.
