BANGALORE: There will be no power in many areas of the city on Sunday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. as Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) is taking up maintenance work. The areas that will be affected are Geethanjali Layout, Marathahalli, BEML, Jeevan Bima Nagar, Airport Road, ADA Control Tower, G.M. Palya, Basavanagar, Jagadishnagar, Murgeshpalya, Brigade Road, M.G. Road, Lavelle Road, St. John's Road, Commercial Street, Halasur, St. Marks' Road, Kodihalli, Domlur, Manipal Hospital, Leela Palace, Ejipura, Amarjyothi Layout, Runway, Lucent, Challagatta, Kempapura, Intel Texas, Airport, Malleshpalya, LBS Nagar, A.S. Palya, Vibhutipuranagar, Vignananagar, Kaggadasapura, Kundalahalli, Munnekolal, Doddanakundi, HAL 3rd Stage, parts of Shantinagar, parts of S.R. Nagar and surrounding areas. Kodihalli, Manipal Hospital, Britannia, RMZ, Intel, KGA, Royal Arcade and Domlur Layout.
