KATHMANDU: Elections to the Constituent Assembly will not be possible in mid-June if an interim government is not formed in the coming week, Prachanda, chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) said on Saturday. Stating that the Election Commission of Nepal had labelled the present Government a ``caretaker Government,'' Prachanda said an interim government should be set up in one week. He said the CPN would put forward a proposal for amending the interim Constitution with a provision allowing Parliament to remove the King. ``If there is a provision to remove the Prime Minister in the interim legislature, then we will be putting forward a provision to have the King himself removed''.
