Mamata undergoes gall bladder surgery

KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee underwent a surgery for the removal of stones from the gall bladder at a city nursing home here on Sunday. She is expected to be discharged shortly, doctors said.

At a rally in Singur inHooghly on Saturday she said that she would be taking a break for health reasons.
