KOLLAM: A 26-year-old woman and her two children were found dead in a pond inside the defunct Lakshmi Starch Factory at Nanthrikkal in Kundara, near here, on Sunday morning. The woman was identified as Rajani and the children as Ammu (6) and Achu (3). The police said Rajani, along with her two children, had gone to the pond to wash clothes on Saturday evening. The police found Achu's body in the pond on Sunday morning. With the help of the Fire and Rescue Services personnel, the bodies of Rajani and Ammu were fished out from the pond. The bodies were handed over to relatives after a post-mortem examination.
