KOCHI: Education Minister M.A. Baby said here on Sunday that that the Supreme Court had given time to the managements of self-financing educational institutions to file their affidavit before the Court. The Government affidavit will be filed afterwards. Though discussions were taking place between the managements and the Government, the time was not yet ripe to reveal anything about the discussions. The Minister said the students and their parents need not have any worry on this count. He was talking to reporters after participating in the valedictory function of the Special Schools' Kalotsavam here. Earlier, inaugurating the valedictory of the Kalotsavam at Ernakulam YMCA, the Minister said special schools would be given consideration in the next budget. The Minister said he had already held talks with the Finance Minister on the issue. He said special schools would be given all assistance possible within the limitations of the Government.
