Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan tonight underwent an angiography after he was admitted to hospital here following chest pain and his condition is stable. Khan has undergone an angiography and his condition is stable, Narendra Trivedi, Vice President of Leelavati Hospital in suburban Bandra, said. He said the actor is likely to be discharged within the next two days. Saif Ali Khan, son of yesteryear cricketer Mansur Ali Khan and actress Sharmila Tagore, complained of chest pain just before the Star Dust award function was to begin, sources said. He was then admitted to Leelavati Hospital, they added. Saif's sister, Soha Ali Khan, said her brother was fine and was resting presently. "All the tests have been clear and an angiography has been done. He had some chest pain and admitted himself to the hospital to make sure that everything was fine." Khan, who was adjudged for the Star Dust award for the best negative role in "Omkara", was rehearsing for his dance performance at the award-giving function when he complained of chest pain. As news of Khan getting admitted to hospital spread, a number of Bollywood stars, including Director of hit-movie "Parineeta" (in which Saif acts) Pradeep Sarkar, Directors Sudhir Mishra, Ken Ghosh and J P Datta, actress Preity Zinta and actors Fardeen Khan and John Abraham reached the hospital. A huge crowd of fans and curious onlookers gathered near the hospital. Thirty six-year-old Khan, who began his Bollywood career with "Parampara" in 1993, has had a dream run since last year with two films featuring him--Parineeta and Omkara--turning out to be super hits.
