High Court quashes BMP notice to fruits outlet

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court has quashed a notice by the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) levying a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on a vegetables and fruits outlet on Brigade Road. The BMP said the outlet had encroached on the footpath. Justice Rammohan Reddy quashed the notice saying the BMP had not observed the formality of first issuing notice to the outlet.
