VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University has claimed the South-West Zone inter-university women's handball title for the first time in its history. It also secured the third place in the all-India inter-zone competitions, according to Secretary of the AU Sports Board M. Syam Babu. Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy congratulated the women's handball team, which incidentally was the only AU team in recent years to perform well in a team event in the inter-university competitions. Team members: B.
