VIRUDHUNAGAR: A man and his two children met a watery grave when the former attempted to teach swimming to the boys in a well near Virudhunagar on Sunday. The police said that K. Suthanthiram (45) of Moolipatti could not manage to keep afloat in the farm well with both the boys, Punniyamoorthi (11) and Ramkumar (7), jumping into the well together. In an attempt to save both his children, Suthanthiram also drowned. The accident that happened in the forenoon came to light only when people came in search of them in the evening. Fire and Rescue service personnel fished out their bodies.
