ISLAMABAD: India is issuing to relatives of the Pakistani victims on the Lahore-bound Samjhauta Express visas to Panipat, Ambala and Delhi, Indian officials said here. To enable them to reach these places as quickly as possible, both the Indian and Pakistan Governments have decided to permit them to cross the Wagah border by foot, which is normally not allowed to nationals of both countries. A team from the Indian High Commission reached Lahore on Monday evening to set up a visa camp at the Indian Airlines office. Most of the relatives who will go are likely to travel on Tuesday, when a clearer picture is expected to emerge about where the wounded have been taken, and exactly how many Pakistanis died. Of 757 passengers on the train, more than 533 were Pakistanis. The Pakistanis who were not hurt in the attack arrived in Lahore late this evening.
