COIMBATORE: The Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) business in Coimbatore postal division has touched Rs. 14 crore so far this fiscal. According to an official release, the target for the division for the current fiscal, which covers the entire district, is Rs. 33 crores. The rest will be achieved by the end of March this year. A special cell is functioning at Coimbatore Divisional Office for speedy processing of the RPLI passbooks. The Assistant Superintendent of Post Offices, Coimbatore Postal Division, M. Dharmaraj, explained the main features of the scheme to customers who participated in a meeting that was organised recently at Neelikonampalayam.
