COIMBATORE: President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will inaugurate the golden jubilee celebrations of the South India Textile Research Association here on February 24.
Governor Barnala
A release from the association said that Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, Union Minister for Textiles, Shakarsinh Vaghela, would attend the function.
Technology conference
On February 25, the chairman of the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, M.S. Swaminathan, would inaugurate the golden jubilee technological conference of the association. Joint Secretary from the Ministry of Textiles, Sudripta Roy, would deliver the keynote address.
