Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: In the wake of the Samjhauta Express blasts, special security arrangements were made for the Lahore bus service, which left the Ambedkar terminal here around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, said a Delhi Transport Corporation official.

Bomb and dog squads were pressed into service. The baggage of passengers was thoroughly screened. Police vehicles escorted the bus, with 46 passengers on board, up to the Wagah border.
