KARIMNAGAR: The admission process for the newly sanctioned Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTU) engineering college in Karimnagar would begin next academic year, said Minister for Higher Education P. Venkateshwara Rao. He, along with Minister for Minorities Welfare and district in-charge Md. Fariduddin, Government Whip D. Sridhar Babu, legislators T. Jeevan Reddy and J. Ratnakara Rao, participated in the inaugural of the Government Women's Degree for Women constructed at a cost of Rs 70 lakhs. Mr. Fariduddin said that 12 hostels for minorities students would be set up next year. It was also decided to impart special coaching to minorities to compete in civil services examinations. Collector M V Satyanarayana was present.
