Railway e-ticketing facility

Six Bharat Petroleum outlets in Chennai have been selected for setting up railway e-ticketing facility.

The outlets are: Ekayars, Venkatnarayana Road, T.Nagar; Elite Petrol service, Cathedral Road; ASM Abdul Khader, Meenabakkam; BP-Mogappair; Ekayars Adhoc, Mylapore and Uma Service station, Kodambakkam.

A memorandum of understanding was recently signed between Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for setting up the facility.

The exact date of commencement will be notified later.
