Discourse

The Vishva Mahva Maha Parishat of Uttaradi Math will hold from February 21 to 28 a discourse on Anushana Parva of Mahabarath by Sri Raghuthamacharya Mokashi.

Broadcast

All India Radio will broadcast a guidance programme in chemistry for students who are to take the Plus-Two board examinations this year. It will be at 8 p.m. for eight days from February 21.

K. Sathianarayanan of the Department of Chemistry at Stanes Higher Secondary School will provide important tips to students.

Grievances meet

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board will conduct a grievances redressal meeting for consumers at 11.30 a.m. on February 21 at the Executive Engineer's office at Town Hall.

`Karpagatharu `07'

A three-day academic meet, `Karpagatharu `07', will be held from February 21 at Karpagam Arts and Science College. A press release from the college said the inter-collegiate mega academic event would begin with `Rendezvous', organised by the School of Computer and Basic Sciences.

It would feature competitions such as word hunt, logo designing, poster designing, multimedia presentation, physics and mathematics quiz and logic design.

`Scientia', organised for the second day by the School of Life Sciences, will have quiz, debate, paper collage and poster presentation. `Comsow' on the third day by the Departments of Commerce, Management and Social Work would have paper presentation and painting and essay writing. Registration was free and participants should report by 8.30 a.m.
