FLO to present a series of programmes

CHENNAI : As part of the ongoing `Chennai Sangamam' festival, the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) will present a series of programmes from Wednesday to Saturday in the evenings.

The programmes will be held at hotels — The Park and Taj Coromandel — on the Nungambakkam High Road.

A painting exhibition, `Street Vendors,' will be held at the mandapam in Kapaleeswarar Temple in Mylapore on Thursday. The events will be held between 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and will include folk performances, a fusion of music and dance, and interaction with artists. An exhibition of paintings and a traditional south Indian food festival with the launch of a cookbook are major attractions.

On the concluding day, Saturday, a folk performance by artists from Andhra Pradesh will be presented.

A health camp will be held by Apollo Hospitals from 6.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. at Natesan Park in T. Nagar (Feb. 22), Nageswara Park in Alwarpet (Feb. 23), Sivan Park in K.K. Nagar (Feb. 24) and Tower Park in Anna Nagar (Feb.25).
