Governor's office demands CD

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: In the wake of Bangalore University Director of Correspondence Courses B.C. Mylarappa's remarks against Governor T.N. Chaturvedi to a private television channel, the Governor's office has demanded a copy of the CD from the channel.

The Kannada channel had telecast a story based on a college lecturer's complaint to the Governor about an old case of plagiarism against the university official. Mr. Mylarappa is said to have referred to the Governor in singular while being interviewed for the channel's report.

It was repeatedly telecast on the channel throughout Tuesday. The matter is likely to come up in the legislature session on Wednesday.
