KOCHI: The Single Window Clearance Committee, a statutory body with the District Collector as chairman and District Industries Centre general manager as convener, will give deemed registrations to new industrial units if grama panchayats object to granting of licences to them. The District Industrial Development Committee meeting at Kakkanad on Monday took the decision. The Single Window Clearance Committee will decide on the registration after hearing the parties concerned.
