E-learning project

KOCHI: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will inaugurate the e-learning project in Vadakkekara on Wednesday. An official release said that Vadakkekara would be the first Assembly constituency to implement the e-learning project in all Government and aided schools. The project would be implemented using the MLA fund. Minister for Education M.A. Baby will preside over the meeting. Minister for Fisheries S. Sarma, who represents the constituency, will distribute the project CDs on the occasion.

CD shop sealed

KOCHI: A police team led by Francis Shelby, sub-inspector, Ernakulam Town Central Police Station, sealed a shop that was making moulds used in CD duplication. The police action followed complaints by video shop owners. The police were yet to register any case in this connection. Experts would examine the materials at the shop on Wednesday, the police said. - Staff Reporter

Management Day

KOCHI: Kerala Management Association is observing Management Day on February 21. As part of the programme, a panel discussion on `building institutions' will be held at Abad Plaza, in the city. Kochouseph Chittilapilly, Managing Director of V Guard Industries; V.J. Kurien, Chairman of Spices Board, and C.G.
