Broad guidelines on doorstep banking

MUMBAI: To enable start of doorstep banking, the Reserve Bank on Wednesday released broad guidelines for cash pick-up and delivery, modalities of delivery, risk management and grievance redressal. It clarified that in the case of corporates, PSUs or Central and State governments the cash delivery facility would be only offered against receipt of cheque at the branch and not on a telephonic request.
