Centre lifts ban on meat export

New Delhi: The Government lifted the ban on export of sheep and goat meat, but such consignments would be subject to quality control and inspection.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade issued a notification allowing export of sheep and goat meat.

The Government has now also permitted overseas sale of goat meat with bones. — PTI
