MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank Ltd., which has its headquarters here, has launched a savings bank account scheme, "S.B.-Soulabhya", for its premium customers. Those who avail of this scheme can make use of a host of services and facilities free of service charges, according to a press release issued by the bank here on Tuesday. The scheme allows its users free access to the bank's ATMs, cash withdrawals from anywhere, cash deposits anywhere, a debit card facility, an internet banking facility, banking over the mobile phone (through SMS alerts only), demat accounts, a cheque collection facility and multi-city cheque facilities subject to certain terms and conditions, the release adds.
New branches
The bank, which opened its 405th branch at Panipat in Haryana on Tuesday, plans to open branches at Siliguri, Kanpur, Jodhpur and Agra.
