Page Industries taps market to fund expansion

CHENNAI: Page Industries, the exclusive licensee of the U.S. based innerwear maker Jockey International for India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Maldives, is entering the capital market with an initial public offer of Rs. 10 each through book building to mobilise Rs. 110 crore. Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, Sunder (Ashok) Genomal, Managing Director, said the company, manufacturing and distributing `Jockey' brand innerwear, would utilise the issue proceeds for brand building, expansion of garment production capacity and setting up new garment and socks manufacturing facilities. The issue is open from February 23 to 27. The price band has been fixed at Rs. 360-395 per share.
