CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Lakshadweep. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Agathi Airport recorded rainfall of 1 centimetre.

They were below normal at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka, north Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, appreciably to markedly being so at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Telangana, north interior Karnataka, rest south interior Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Forecast (Valid until Saturday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
