Govt. invites bids for Maruti stake

NEW DELHI: The Union Government on Thursday started the process of disinvestment of its remaining 10.27 per cent stake in Maruti Udyog Ltd. by inviting bids from public sector financial institutions and mutual funds. Unloading of the Government stake would fetch Rs. 2,700 crore to the Exchequer.
