NEW DELHI: In an effort to gather support for New Delhi's bid to host the 2014 Asian Games, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has decided to send delegations to some "identified countries". A delegation had recently visited China, which had announced its support for India's bid, according to the IOA Secretary General Randhir Singh. A meeting, chaired by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, was held here on Wednesday to chalk out plans for India's bidding campaign. The venue for the 2014 Games would be decided at the General Assembly meeting of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Kuwait on April 16 and 17. Incheon, South Korea, is the other contender.
