Pact signed on research

KADAPA: Yogi Vemana University (YVU) has entered into an agreement with Bologna University, Italy, for conducting research in genetics and molecular biology to raise sustainable crops in drought-prone areas.

There will be interchange of scientists and research will commenced soon, Robert Tuberosa, Professor of Genetics in Bologna University said in his lecture on `Genetics and biotechnology for sustainable agriculture in drought-prone areas' at C.P. Brown library on Wednesday evening.
