Mohan, Zakir shine

MYSORE: Off-spinner Mohan Ram's six for 29 and Zakir Hussain's unbeaten 61 helped BEL Sports Club (Bangalore) register a two-wicket win over Southern Railway Institute (Mysore) in the KSCA Group II Division II league match at the Gangothri grounds here on Thursday.

The scores: Southern Railway Institute 141 in 38.1 overs (Mohan Ram six for 29) lost to BEL Sports Club 142 for eight in 35.5 overs (Zakir Hussain 61 not out, Sharath Babu four for 46).

AT & S (N'gud) 205 in 44.4 overs (Chandra 45, Vijay Kumar 42) bt South Western Railway Institute, Bangalore 77 in 22.1 overs (C.L. Kiran four for 33).
