CPI(M) nominee to head Devaswom
The State committee of the ruling LDF, which met here on Thursday, decided to leave the chairmanship of the Guruvayur Devaswom to the CPI(M). The Front leader would also get to nominate one of the four members of the Devaswom Board. The CPI and the Janata Dal (Secular) would share the remaining two positions in the Board. The CPI(M) would also get two out of the six vacancies in the Public Service Commission (PSC). The CPI, RSP, Janata Dal (Secular) and the Kerala Congress (Joseph) would get the remaining positions.
