`State violating freedom of press'

ANANTAPUR: BJP leader N. Indrasena Reddy on Thursday alleged that the Government was violating the freedom of press.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the Government's raids on the sister concerns of the Eenadu group were mala fide and smacked of vengeance.

The Government was targeting the media group as the latter had been vocally exposing the corrupt deeds by the Government, he said.
