Getting tough with hoarders

It's `cleansing' time for the twin cities, but it's not garbage this time.

The hammer has come down heavy on the supermarkets that were found guilty of hoarding tonnes of grains and pulses.

While it felt nice to go and shop in the air-conditioned convenience of the big `kirana store', it always came at a much higher cost.

We know now what was moving that price graph up!
