Financier Krishna Yadav, who was shot at in Marredpally, should be thankful to the hired assassins for using a country-made pistol. Surprised?

But that is what the police feel. From securing the country-made pistol on rent from a former naxalite to stalking their target, the hired killer duo planned everything meticulously to execute the attack.

On finding Yadav alone, the duo fired one shot at him from close range.

Just when they tried to fire another shot, the magazine slipped from the crude weapon.

"The attacker tried to pick up the magazine. By then Yadav raised an alarm and locals started gathering forcing the attackers to flee," the police say.
