SBT opens 700th branch

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Bank of Travancore (SBT) opened its 700th branch at Oyur in Kollam district on Thursday. Pradeep Shankar, Chief General Manager, who inaugurated the branch, also handed over the first Savings Bank Pass Book. B. Ragavan, MLA, handed over the first locker key. Ezhukone Narayanan handed over the first Term Deposit Receipt and H.N. Das, Deputy General Manager, Thiruvananthapuram zone, handed over the first Current Account pass book.
