BERHAMPUR: Tallapaka Annamayya was remembered on his death anniversary on Friday through a cultural meet at Venkateswara temple of the city. Hundreds of devotees thronged the temple to attend the function organised by Annamayya Sankirtanravali and Annamayya Aradhana Samiti. Kirtans written by the great poet were rendered. Singers like M.K. Rao, A.R. Verma, I. Subbalakshmi enthralled the audience. The statue of Annamayya at the temple premises was garlanded and worshipped.
