BANGALORE: The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) will allot sites, houses and apartments for eligible applicants at its Suryanagar Layout, near the Electronics City, and at Bandemath Layout near Kengeri from March 6 to 10. Housing Minister D.T. Jayakumar told presspersons here on Friday that the KHB would allot 1,591 sites, 497 houses and 1,577 apartments for applicants through draw of lots at the Suryanagar Layout. It would allot 680 sites and 60 houses for applicants at Bandemath Layout near Kengeri. Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy would inaugurate the Suryanagar Layout on March 2. The draw of lots would be held at Indoor Stadium at Koramangala in Bangalore from March 6 to 10 at 10 a.m. A final list of eligible applicants for allotment of sites and houses in the two layouts would be announced on March 2, he said. The KHB announced a list of eligible applicants for houses or sites on February 19. The applicants can submit complaints, if any, to the KHB, Ground Floor, Cauvery Bhavan, Bangalore - 560 009 on or before February 28. Of the proposed 100 housing projects in the State, 60 have been completed.
