Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Eyeing the fast growing retail sector in India, enterprise software company Oracle on Tuesday said it was in talks with all leading players in the sector and would be providing its application and data management products with cutting edge-technologies. The retail sector was booming with top Indian companies as well as global players getting keenly involved in it, said Oracle Senior Vice President Mark Gibbs, adding that Oracle was also targeting it as an altogether new industry. "We have all the enterprise, skills and technical know-how to cater to the needs of big retail players. We are studying the market and want to consolidate our position in it," said Mr. Gibbs.
