KANNUR: The Prime Minister's 15-point programme for the uplift of the minorities is a demonstration of the Congress' commitment to their welfare, said Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary K. Sudhakaran, MLA, on Friday. He was inaugurating a seminar on the Sachar Committee Report, organised by the district unit of the KPCC Minority Department, here. The findings of the committee should trigger introspection among the people as to the problems still faced by the minorities in the country, even though India was among the few nations that offered Constitutional rights to the minorities, Mr. Sudhakaran said.
