NEW DELHI: Dhruvpal Godara slotted in three goals as Elevation defeated Army Red 6-5 1/2 and made it to the final of the Bvlgari Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia Gold Cup 12-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo Ground here on Friday. Godara found support from Satinder Garcha (2) and Gerardo Mazzini (1) after Army Red started with half-a-goal on handicap. For Army Red,Santiago De Estrada scored four, while Navjit Sandhu slotted home one. In the other league match, Kingfisher First beat Army Green 5-2, but Aravali Polo made it to the final due to better goal difference from the group. Vishal Singh (4) and Uday Kalaan (1) struck for Kingfisher First, while Samir Suhag scored for Army Green. The final will be played on Sunday at the Oberoi Farm.
