VIJAYAWADA: As many as 27 men's and women's teams will take part in the 26th senior National netball championship, which was inaugurated on Friday at Ongole's D.R.R.M. Municipal High School, Netball Federation of India (NFI) secretary-general Dr. P.S. Sharma said in a release here. The event would be conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis. The groupings: Men: Pool `A': U.P., Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Jharkhand, Gujarat, TN and Kerala; Pool `B': Haryana, Karnataka, Punjab, H.P., Uttaranchal, Orissa and Assam; Pool `C': Delhi, AP, J&K, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Manipur, Meghalaya and Maharashtra; Pool `D': Rajasthan, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Goa, M.P. and Bihar. Women: Pool `A': Chhattisgarh, U.P., Meghalaya, Uttaranchal, Punjab, H.P. and Rajasthan; Pool `B': Karnataka, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, J & K and Puducherry; Pool `C': A.P., Orissa, Bihar, M.P., Tamil Nadu, Goa and Manipur; Pool `D': Haryana, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Dadar & Nagar Haveli and Chandigarh. — Sports Reporter
