Bangalore: "Everything about our housing speaks of luxury, except our pricing," said an official at Nandi Housing Stall, at The Hindu-PropertyPlus exhibition, `Living Spaces-2007,' the company run by graduates of IIM and Harvard in the city since two decades.

Nandi offers two bedroom flats from Rs. 21 lakh onwards and three bedroom flats from Rs. 32 lakh. BSR Developers had their team speaking about the super deluxe apartments at Banaswadi and HSR Layout with jogging track, toddlers' pool and gym with hi-tech security. Dreams were being woven at Apna Sapna stall, which showcased its project "Apna Aangan."

Novel amenities, to-die-for deals and lowest booking advances were the other temptations at Gopalan Enterprises, Aishwarya Homes and Developers, Renaissance Holdings, DS-Max, Hygrevar Home & Health, Fortuna Group and many more.

The variety offered by builders and developers for all pockets is indeed a commitment that was made a reality, especially for visitors.

Earlier `Living Spaces-2007' was inaugurated by P.R. Shankara Raju, Regional Manager, LIC Housing Finance, at Koramangala Indoor Stadium. Most banks and financial institutions have their legal team to clear projects selected by consumers at the fair, while the on-the-spot loans are also smooth. The majority of the lending institutions like Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda and IDBI are advertising their concession rates on floating loans even as they are going easy on the processing fee at the exhibition. "We have about 150 approved projects in Bangalore alone, and we expect to sanction about Rs. 25 crore before the weekend, expecting at least 1,000 customers at our stall, said Mr. Shankar Raju.

Your bathroom will be another room indeed if the array of products displayed at `Living Spaces-2007' is any indication. At Nestel bath solutions, multifunction showers, shower panels, glass shower cubicles, glass and steel washbasin stands that spell elegance and minimalist design are very new-age. Bally Ceramics old-fashioned washbasins are a passé. It's glass bowls for basins and all the textured glass in various hues (running up to Rs. 10,000 plus) could be mistaken for drawing room artefacts.

Lujo Bath Solutions have contemporary tales in every piece of their shower room offer, be it the Jacuzzi tub or acrylic or toughened glass bath cubicles with multi-flow technology.
