THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A three-member team from Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority (TECOM), the promoters of Dubai Internet City (DIC), will reach here on Sunday for further talks on the Smart City project, proposed to be set up at Kakkanad in Kochi. The team, led by TECOM executive director Farid Abdul Rahman, will hold talks with Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan before negotiating the details of the deal with top Government officials. The Smart City project is envisaged as a joint sector IT cluster between TECOM and the Kerala Government in 246 acres (about 100 hectares) of land at Kakkanad.
