According to the police, Maya, who runs a beauty parlour in Laxmi Nagar, wanted to buy a flat and had approached bank agent Lucky for a loan. Blaming Lucky for it, she along with the two men allegedly kidnapped him.

Transportation plan
The NCR Planning Board's Project Sanctioning and Monitoring Group has given its approval to undertake a study for the integrated transportation plan for the NCR as a whole. The study will assess the drawbacks of the existing transport system and also chart out ways to strengthen the corridors. The new rail and road corridor needs between Delhi and NCR towns, metro centres and regional centres will also be looked into. The study is meant to be a blueprint for an integrated multi-modal transportation plan.
