Kumaraswamy's call to people

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Saturday called for citizen's participation in development projects such as satellite townships, Outer Ring Road, Metro Rail among others, taken up by the State Government. He was speaking at a function organised by Rotary Bangalore and Prestige Group to felicitate him with the `Citizen Extraordinaire Award 2007.' "People's participation is also needed in the maintenance of lakes and parks. They must exhibit civic sense and not pollute their surroundings," he said.
