KURNOOL: George Bishop Jr., Senior English Language Fellow, said medical and information technology professionals were in good demand in the United States. Addressing the students of KVR College for Women here on Tuesday, he said good communication skills in English would fetch plum jobs in the national and international job market. Mr. Bishop is heading the English Lecturers Retraining Programme, sponsored by the Department of Collegiate Education, in the State. The programme, which started last year, would end in July this year. Mr. Bishop and his team retrained the English teachers across the State last year and held workshops as follow-up action and study the impact of the training programme.
Soft skills
