Senior appointments

CHENNAI: The following senior appointments have been announced by the companies concerned: Soiles Bhattacharya has assumed charge as Director (Finance) of Steel Authority of India Ltd. Prior to this he was Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), Central Marketing Organisation, SAIL; Birender Ahluwalia, former member of the executive committee with Tata Sky Ltd., appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of GoAir; and Ajay Marathe, former Vice-President, AMD Inc., appointed as Chief Operating Officer of SemIndia.
