10 missing fishermen return to Pamban
The Sri Lankan fishermen released them following negotiations between local fishermen's associations of the two countries. They returned to the shore in a boat that had been seized by Sri Lankan fishermen. Personnel of various intelligence agencies including IB, `Q' branch CID interrogated them. S. Velpandian, Assistant Director of Fisheries, said he had information that the remaining 7 fishermen were on their way to Pamban in another boat. A report had been sent to the Government.
