Badminton tourney kicks off

KORAPUT: The seventh State- level badminton tournament was inaugurated by MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati at Elite Indoor Club here on Tuesday.

The tournament received a good response and 48 teams from 19 districts were participating in it, Mr. Taraprasad said.

The inaugural match was held between Koraput and Nowrangpur. Siba Prasad Patnaik , president of the DCC, was also present.
